Privacy policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture.

We also store what you enter yourself: your house's name and details (e.g. floor area, heating source), the costs you log (amount, date, category, note), and optionally household members and pets.

How we use it

To show your own stats and charts, and to compute anonymized, aggregated comparisons against other houses - we never show another user another specific house's data.

We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database (provider: Neon). Sign-in goes through Google (OAuth) - we never store or see your Google account password.

Cookies and localStorage

We use a single session cookie needed to keep you signed in. In your browser's localStorage, we only store your light/dark theme preference - not used for tracking or analytics.

Your rights

You can delete a house and all its associated data yourself, at any time, under Settings → Danger zone.
